Has anyone looked at the licence and royalty revenue compared to last quarter? How about any deferred income?

(Sorry, I am at work now and don't have much freedom to look up)

Earnings report is pretty tame compared to last qtr's, but then it depends on how you read it. The questions I have is how did they manage to meet the target expectations of .27/sh? Are they playing games with the royalties and using it to cushion any shortfall? If so, why not add a couple of pennies more and beat the estimate like in last qtr (less the "flat" jibberish stuff)? Any thoughts?

Mauro.

PS. Regarding micorsoft, they barely made their number and mentioned a decrease in sales in Asia. Has anyone seen any stock trade in after hours and seen any effect from msft's announcement? With no new products expected from msft in this current qtr, how do you think it will affect their stock. Sorry for rambling on msft on this tread!
