I don't mind your cynicism if it is true. However, I doubt it, since the pricier the transaction (buyout,) the more fees they can reap.

Actually, I think you're being realistic. They want to push the price down so they and their friends can buy cheaper. I don't know about helping LU to buy them, but I use ANALyst's recommendations as a CONTRARIAN indicator. I'll be buying more BAY soon.
