Can you cite some evidence that humans are increasing CO2 above historic threshold levels, let alone 10X. Are you aware that recent lows are near starvation levels for most plant life (talk about a catastrophe) and the IPCC goal is near those levels?

You also are aware that the impact of CO2 in the atmosphere varies by the natural log (Ln) - increasing chance IR would have already reacted with a CO2 molecule, and if there is to be an impact we would have experienced 80-90% by now with the increases already "reported"......2X or 10X isn't really an issue.

ask why most plants evolved to be happiest at 4000-5000 ppm CO2.....after the ice melted at the start of the current interglacial period (which is about to end), CO2 was only about 240 ppm. At 160 ppm, all plant life dies. The planet was only 80 ppm away from a major extinction event......even at 400 ppm, plants are CO2 starved..... Satellite data shows the deserts are shrinking and the world is greening as CO2 increases.....when we hit the nadar of the current cold period, expected to be at least as deep as the Maunder Minimum, there will be crop failures and world wide starvation. The real worry is the magnetic field is weakening and incoming cosmic radiation is at all time measured highs and continues to climb. Cosmic radiation causes nucleation of water vapour, increasing cloud cover and albedo. This will be additive to the cooling that accompanies the grand solar minimum.

this planet can increase CO2 emissions by 10 fold (or more)

Are you aware that if you double the CO2 levels in a greenhouse plant production goes up 15%? This kind of wild ass projections of increases are typical of the Global Warming crowd. There is no basis I would accept for them. They might as well walk the streets with a white robe and sign boards projecting that the world is coming to an end.

Its not the fact that CO2 will affect the planet that is the point of the debate. Turn the Earth into a fireball or not, it doesn't really matter. The fraud exists in the solution. Every global warming alarmist believes in the redistribution of wealth as a solution to the problem.

If CO2 is actually a problem the solution is laughably simple. Plant trees. Instead we are told to hand over our money. Put me in the camp that says let the world burn if this is the solution. Come up with serious solutions and I might actually listen again.

FWIW, Canada has a massive boreal forest and it is estimated that Canada removes 10 times as much carbon from the air as it puts in.
