Cost/MB does "blast" flash, though, and I think it's reason enough for Clik!

Ken: Back in yet for a trade?

Wonder of wonders, I am actually back to fantasizing that I can recoup my original money tossed in at $28.

Ken -

Your chart comparing Clik! to flash does not include the cost of at least one flash card. The interface is not the total cost to manufacture a flash-enabled device. Nobody's going to buy one unless it comes with at least one card. As far as I know, there are no flash-enabled devices sold without one.

BTW, I saw an interesting item in the back pages of PC Week. It was an ad for an flash-card reader/writer for PCs. The device is available in one or two-slot models. And it's only $349 for the single slot! If the interface to flash is as cheap as you say, Ken, then these guys must be making a fortune.
