Del,

Thank you - I couldn't ask for a better response than that. As someone who first learned how to program by scrounging up enough money for a copy of Paradox 2.0, I've always appreciated the "feel" of Borland products, whether at the employer's office or at the home office. The press release yesterday answered whatever questions I had at the time, but others here today had some questions about the ownership of Frontline Now!.

Thanks again,
Dave

Wow! I think this is the MR. DEL YOCAM (e-mail address check! )! Welcome Sir! I can't believe it! YES! (I'll get over my excitement at some point!!) And will stop using the ! at some point ! Awesome, awesome, awesome! !!! !

And yes granted that even though the cost of the Visigenic acquisition seems high I think it's the right thing to do. The enterprise is the future. And no communication gateway can be built without a language for the objects to communicate. Now only if all those other boys stop trying to reinvent the wheel and just stick with the Visigenic ORBs...

As an aside, maybe BORL might go up in the next few days if the fact that the CEO took the time to answer questions on Silicon Investor ever gets into the paper press!

And maybe SI's IPO will get a boost...

(P.S. Sir, this is one of those "No response necessary" notes. Thanks again for joining in. It's fantastic to have your perspective and like someone else mentioned I don't think anyone should expect you to answer all the questions. You have a real job! A real cool job.)
