I agree that the superbowl ad is a sign of good earnings coming up tomorrow. It seems they must have extra money lying around to do such an ad. :)

Commentary on Dr. Iomega's list of questions:

fool.com (go about halfway down)

I totally agree with the commentary, and I think the list gathered from here really was pretty pathetic. Come on, we can do better than that. I guess I should have added some questions myself, though:

How do you feel the Asian monetary crisis will affect Iomega in the coming quarters?

What is the Zip licensees' production capacity, and have they started producing drives?

How will Iomega address competition on the high-end from SparQ and Orb?

I do expect the first to be answered at the conference call, and I expect the answer is that Asia is not going to have a significant affect. The third will be answered shortly by price reductions or a new product, and the second...well, hopefully it will be answered also, but I'm not all that hopeful. We'll figure the second out later.

Oh, one more:

How will Iomega address the lack of major brokerage coverage?

I expect the answer to this is something like: "We don't provide guidance, but IR is continuing to work hard to get more coverage."

Of course the meaning of such an answer is basically: "nothing" (not that I mind that really)
