How would ASND and CPQ fit as a tandem? I know there are lots of rumors swirling about CPQ and ASND popped into my head as a possible target,what with the share price being so low.What do you think? I think the combination would be smart for CPQ. However, I also think that CPQ is too conservative and won't spend the money required. Instead, I think CPQ will make the mistake of buying a small or micro player and try to gain entry through that player. Given the speed with which this industry moves, and the importance of installed base, I would disagree with such a decision. But I'm not a decision-maker at CPQ. Gary Korn

[CPQ and ASND] Beach -- According to a friend who sells RAS products in GTE's SW territory, CPQ is selling servers like these's no tomorrow. Could there be synergies with ASND in this arena? I'm new to ASND so leave it to others to fill in the blanks. BTW, thanks for the aftermarket update. Reading through the posts while spit-wads from the thread's most verbose daytrader flew over-head, I thought for awhile it was a waste of time. And, Gary, I wasn't offended by your quasi plug. I knew the spirit in which it was posted and could almost hear your dismissive laughter as you wrote it. No apology necessary. Pat
