I was thinking about our problems in dealing with science this morning. My basic Aristotle premise is that this is the real world and the way to deal with it is the use of reason. My next major premise is that the Universe consists of nothing but energy. Using reason, the most important thing to start with is the need to define our terms. The definitions should be in terms of energy.

For instance, the operational definition of life I use is:

"Life is an open thermodynamic process that organizes energy.,"

In economics, I define money as:

"Credit good for future delivery of energy."

I just re-read the exposition in Wikipedia of Quantum and stopped by shaking my head. I think "Occam's Razor" got lost in that science.
