Creating a restore point wasn't adequate for Stephan recently

My issue was not paying attention to detail in that I had multiple disks I was consolidating. A restore point would not have helped me. Off site back up is 100% except if you are not distracted and not paying attention. Back up is better than no backup. All words of caution apply. Just be aware. My situation was stupidity. It happens to the best of us.

On a positive note, my friend who gave her information to her computer to a hacker is safe. It took a reformat to erase the tracking software and just cleaned out her junk. An imagine file is great and that is what I did after deleting her system. She is a regular friend who has common operator error. It remains to be seen if her accounts have been compromised in the future. It was a long day resetting all passwords on a new computer. Thankfully she utilities the flash disk I gave her for her photos.
