John, maybe the strange trading action you are seeing is something we should look at as this: Maybe(hopefully) the conspiracy theory will be working on the positive side this time;-) Maybe there is MS and someone else conspiring to make sure they both get enough cheap stock before the earnings come out. You know, maybe they are taking turns and each loading up in some way and then after they are thru and the earnings come in they are going to go hog wild with upgrades and all sorts of hyping....dreaming, what a nice way to pass the evening!

John, it doesn't seem like any one market maker is hanging around at the top bid level. Again, that doesn't mean much, only that no one can be seen. I did notice one large trade late in the day (I think 50,000 shares) that went off at the bid when the bid was 15. This basically means that a market maker thought it wasn't going any lower and was willing to pay the top bid price (it could have been a trade between market makers). Usually a large trade like this in a thinly traded stock would be down one or two levels. A few minutes later, there was a 35,000 share trade at 15 1/8 when the was bid/ask was 15 to 15 1/16. What all this means is anyones guess.

John & Jay: I spoke to a market maker yesterday and he says DLJ & MSCO are the majority volume leaders here. With MSCO being on the ask so much he believes, and this is only his opinion that they are putting their clients in with the stock they accumulate. They buy through INCA or instinet and sell as MSCO on level II ...

I still think MSCO will upgrade CYMI soon....IMHO

Stock will move up soon is what I was told.....in anticipation of CYMI again beating the estimates, a perception that DUV will weather the storm without much damage and finally that everyone who wanted out of CYMI has essentially gotten out.

Good luck,

Bob
