I think it is great that SanDisk was not affected by Asia slowdown. Just as is the case with Compaq, I would speculate that SanDisk will benefit from lower component costs. In addition, there is MMC rising over the horizon soon. All this earning and PE of 25 is without taking that MMC into consideration. MMC, unlike CF, has a huge market immediately.

I am a photographer and I have been using SanDisk CompactFlash for a few months. I love it. Just as CDs took over the LPs to the point that LPs are almost extinct, CompactFlash will take over films in the years to come.

I am going to sit on this stock for the next five years. I have no doubt it will tenfold or more.

Over at Borland forum, the CEO of Borland himself participated in the discussion. That is the greatest thing I have ever seen in investor relations. I could not believe my eyes when I saw that name. Needless to say, it caused quite a stir there.

In sharp contrast, we have to wait for days to get third hand response from SanDisk over here. It does not have to be the CEO himself but if some official from SanDisk answered the questions here, it would enhance the image of the company greatly.
