I resent every single micro cent of my tax dollars that goes to that outfit.

As do I.

My example was from this morning's story about Omar and the other three criticizing Trump "for his racist tweets."

The report did not say they criticized him for tweets they believed were racist. The assumption was that the tweets were in fact racist.

My personal experience with NPR - I was involved with a long-running guardianship case. There was a woman who was an alleged friend of the incapacitated person who was a real troublemaker. The court entered an order to keep her away. She wasn't happy she kept losing in court so she went to the local NPR affiliate. They then ran a hit piece about how the little lady (age 99) got railroaded into guardianship and lost all control over her life. Even though I had an integral role in the early stages of the case, they never deigned to interview me, not that I could have said much.

Couple months ago, the court entered a $75,000 judgment against the "friend" for having financially exploited the little old lady. I sent an e-mail to the reporter to let her know her chief informant had been found to have committed financial exploitation. I copied the station manager and the news manager. Did not receive a single response or even an acknowledgement that they'd read my e-mail.

They had a narrative they wanted to promote, which they did. Facts be damned.
