On CNBC this afternoon Bob Pisani reporting from the NYSE commented on the price in GTW, attributed it to takeover rumours. He then stated their had been insider selling in December by the president of Gateway and another family member. Is he reporting inaccurate information? By the way, I am long GTW, so would appreciate knowing what is really going on.

Marc,

Ted did sell 350,000 shares of his 65,000,000(not exact #) shares in December. As I posted to another person here , simple math can solve the question of should anyone who owns this stock be concerned with that sale.
And the simple answer is no way. For anyone else who is concerned about heavy insider selling at Gateway, as Marc said and I will confirm, there was none.
