News on CPQ INTC MSFT plans for internet access (dsl)
ÿ Officials from Intel, Microsoft and Compaq Computer Corp. would confirm only that they plan an
announcement involving Internet access over phone lines at the Comnet trade show in Washington next week.
News of the agreement was first reported in yesterday's New York Times.

Ray and thread:Regarding Microsoft, did any of you noticed anything besides the earnings? What caught my attention was (besides the earnings) this: ie.

Sales in Asia down 8%, but sales in Europe up 33% !!
