Gang, debt is a bipartisan disease. Our side is infected as well. The 60 vote rule in the Senate makes strong budget action almost impossible.

Bush opened the spigot after Paulson and Ben told him how. Bush then trumpeted how great economy was(much like 45). Bush handed Obama a shit sandwich of an economy. I remember Obama's face coming out of briefing after elections. He realized then his visions of grandeur were dead. He opened spigot wider to maintain status quo and try to implement whatever he could get passed.

Trump takes over and demands ZIRP as the only way country can avoid bankruptcy. He's right in acknowledging debt is unmanageable. Higher rates will divert disproportionate amount of revenues towards interest. But Fed alone doesn't determine rates.

I agree with trump on many issues
I disagree with his tactics and his immature, coarse style.
