Keith -

I believe the statistics won't change much if you replace television
households with total households. I don't know where to locate total
household stats on the net, but I'm sure that they are there somewhere
(everything is online!). Just a wild-as_ed guess, so take it for what
it's worth: The population of the US is ~275? million, say that the
average household is ~2.5? people. Then there are ~110 million total
households, so TV penetration is 87%. The stats won't change all that
much. Also, as you point out, how many people who don't have TVs are
going to sign up for high-speed internet access? 0.0005%?

The point of my earlier post was just to try to get David to back up
his "statistics" with a reference to his source.
