Alvin,

I take a loss atleast once a week and yes if a stock starts to fall and my indicators tell me that it won't rebound I just sell, take the loss and move on. This is as much of a part of day trading as having a win. The key that I have learned is to take losses and get out or you will get stuck holding a stock that you would never buy short or long term.
