Mohan, I think it was you asking about the MSC in Malaysia? Anyway, this from todays newspaper:
"The Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) is rapidly taking shape in the physical form as work on infrastructure progresses ahead of schedule."

It goes on to say that for this year alone Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC) estimates that the MSC companies will make investments totaling 1.9 billion ringiit to get their operations started. Further expected investments bring the total to 2.8 billion by the end of the 5th year of operations. The MDC has granted MSC status to 103 companies from the total of 176 applications. Of these 37 are local companies, 28 are joint ventures between local and international interests, 9 are from the United States, 1 from Canada, 12 from Europe, 5 from Japan, and 11 are from other parts of the world. Datuk Seri Dr. Mahatir was quoted as saying that the MSC project is proceeding ahead of schedule by one year.

My previous post to you on this subject saying that it was forecasted to be behind is apparently mistaken. Sorry for that.

Best,
Stitch

Guess the biggest probem has Bill, after all <g>: Can't get off where he should <g>.

No, seriously, I agree that as long as the job gets done, one shouldn't really care from a management the country point of view. And why does one always immediately believe the "poor" victim? I think if the new story was true, Bill would be really damn stupid after what he should have learned from the Paula Jones thing. For this he would then deserve the full scorn of everybody, but I doubt that he would be stupid enough to ever iniate something in the White House. If the public thinks they have a president with the wrong sexual attitude, fine, vote him out on the next occasion! Until then let him and his staff run the country. They do that pretty decently IMHO from Europe.

I take side with Bill in this case as long as it is not proven otherwise.

My 2 cents only,
Thomas
