Chill out and lighten up, Wayne. I did not accuse you of anything. I merely speculated as to your motivations and made a cynical wise crack about what you might care to do about your beliefs.

You are the one who is making all the accusations around here.If you want to accuse TM of misconduct. Get the facts then come back and post them.(see response #2777 on this thread).

Wayne, I think you guys just misunderstood each other.

Also several people seem to be misunderstanding Terry Matthews. My understanding of the situation was that after leaving Mitel, he started up Newbridge. Since there was a clear lack of office property development in Kanata at the time, he invested his own money to develop a home for Newbridge himself. As Newbridge has grown, he's continued to develop the land around it, to help foster the growth of the company itself, and indeed "Silicon Valley North" as people around here like to call the area. This was just part of how he created Newbridge. He seems to be kind of a "do it yourself" kinda guy. He "owns" (a lot of) the company, and he owns the land it's on. Big friggin deal. This is silly.

Anyways, that's my understanding of the situation. Someone correct me on the facts if I don't remember correctly.

Andrew
