Yes, you are correct. And there is the possibility that the whole thing was an act so he could avoid the horrifying (to him) questions by the Republicans. I will now throw in my wife's theory which I'm starting to give a very high probability of being correct. Rush is even saying "don't feel bad for Mueller...the Republicans did not make him do this" and they actually eased off at the end because they did feel sorry for the old fool. After reading Weissmann's written report about "can't exonerate" (which he KNOWS is impossible) and the material about Steele's dossier and FUSION GPS, Mueller decide to save his ass and stay out of jail by pretending to be incompetent and senile. Barr, and the IG and John Durham and other investigations are going to turn up widespread fraud and lying by many, including the complicit press. The report was one sided and ignored much evidence. If Sara Carter, John Solomon AND Carter Page are correct, there is a ton of nasty shit to be exposed.
