That was a good move by the company have two inputs; coke (from CVRR's 'waste' stream) and now NG. Again these are variable/price inputs not fixed as you point out. Really no control by management other than to maybe lock in long term agreements at certain cost point. That's what they did w/ parent company CVRR (I believe 15 year contract for 'coke' delivery) and at a nice rate too.

If/when you are on the right side of the price curve (especially on these input prices), UAN is a money machine. Next few quarters, NG price may be lower but long term we will probably see more US NG get exported.

FWIW, futures market showing lower NG prices . .
