Tulvio; ***** OFF TOPIC *****

I see from your profile that you are into auto-correlation and Fast Fourier Transforms. I had a lot of experience with this in the late 60's and early 70's - though none of it was real time back then, man - we were using TimeSharing to mainframes at aircraft companies and FORTRAN codes. Cost us $5,000. per run back then.

Are you doing this now, Tulvio ?

I'm into mathematical programming codes now (professionally) but I simply trade stocks using charts. Recently I began studying Japanese Candlestick Charting - they lend themselves well to pattern recognition. And at the moment, I am exploring fibonacci retracement levels, which work surprisingly well - when fit by hand - rather than being automatically generated.

There is a very skilled trader named Nemer who goes by the name ANOLAN here on SI - he hangs out in the Tech Stock Options thread. Perhaps you already know of him... he's running a real-time neural net that cranks out OEX.X levels; and when he is active, he posts these every day on that thread.
