if you have a history of buying often on amazon and come across a problem with a 3rd party seller i find they give you instant credit.

i assume they charge back to the seller.

I would love to see a crackdown on eBay as well, too many garbage sellers there, especially for things like electronic goods.

Just use the eBay system as it was designed to be used: only buy from sellers who have a sterling record to protect. I have never had a problem buying from sellers that have lots of sales and a 98%+ approval rating.
