Israel doesn't need our funding. Why do we fund Israel? Israel is our ally and our friend. They are very similar to Americans in their view of Democracy, free markets, and the desire to be free. However, why do they need our money? Israelis are very enterprising, have a robust economy, and one hell of a fierce military and intelligence force. If it were me, I would stop funding EVERYONE outside of the US. We need to spend our money on Americans. We have plenty of problems to solve right here. Now, having said that, if Israel was attacked and they asked for our help, then we should help. But in the mean time, they don't need our money. We need it more.
