MSFT on Asia --- "business there only continues to slow"

13% of MSFT's net revenue comes from Asia. Asian revenues were down 8% in the quarter (vs about 10% for Intel which effectively hid the pproblem). However MSFT expects business in Asia to go to hell in the current and next quarter and to be responsible for some 300 million in lower net profits over the next two quarters. THis will translate into some 7.5 cents a share---(from the MSFT conference call).

Well now we have verification of the obvious from the king of the heap. You think the PE ratio can stand it?

=========================
Hang Seng down 4.3%
Indonesia down 5.86%
S. Korea down 0.59%
Malaysia down 3.58%
Japan down 1.02%
Singapore down 3.5%
