>> LOL. What fun we had back then. :) Yes, I always think of that job as being as good as it gets. I was employee # 76, and everyone had energy and projects were just coming at you fast. Business problems one day, statistics the next, engineering the next. I worked on RSTS/E a lot which was a great operating system. The Vaxs were fun. The idea of 1MB (later 2, I think) of semiconductor memory was mind-blowing. Always hated DEC didn't make it but they just didn't have the vision to see a computer on every desktop.
