Jon, too much personal junk in the news nowadays- I say that as a former member of a Democratic Administration, but now as a registered Republican. (So I've seen both sides of the fences). I also used to work in semiconductors-and I like the equipment makers too. Heck DD makers and semi equipment makers both are showing signs of bottoming- not moving down on bad news. CREAF IMO is building a good pair of "sea legs" too. It needs a little while longer, but I'm thinking of removing some call options on CREAF hanging over me currently, especially now on a down day is a good time ot close call options.... Sincerely, Doug F. P.S. Do not want to sound too optimistic yet, but note that the markets are not dropping as much on bad news generally- I except US large caps from that analysis however....
