First try a shutdown and restart to see if it is better.

If you still have the problem, try reinstalling Chrome from Foxfire, but don't delete it.

If you still can't get Chrome to load, you also can't save your bookmarks in Chrome.

This is what I would do then. Install Opera and import your bookmarks from Chrome.

After you have the bookmarks imported into Opera, you can uninstall Chrome and reinstall it.
