Well today was not exactly an SI thread banner day, with all the OT stuff about the
president and Tim making endless posts (and endless replies) on a thread in which he
holds no position. I don't understand it at all.

Sector,

This may give me a chance to post number 32,000 by this weekend. I am getting supersitious<G>

Glenn

Sector, you're scaring me. Endless is a long time.(There is nothing to understand, that's why it's so hard to understand.) And don't forget about today's moral debate. (Go easy here, I used to play morals in grade school till I lost my shooter). At least it wasn't during market hours. That Yahoo dude is lucky he didn't pop by last week when everything was in Portugese.

Yahoo Dude: to paraphrase Joe Pechi, "I got yer technical analysis right here." :o) pete

the commentary on the prez is ot, but the ramifications for the stock market in the u.s and around the world commends the same type of posts we see on asia or europe. i did post an article on the prez and what he said in a pbs interview because his denial was not unequivocal, but continued to leave room to change his answer. if the charges against the prez could be found as factual, and could lead to impeachment (anyone who lived through watergate would not want to see a prez leave office under dubious circumstances), even though this will take time, markets will react swiftly and negatively to the uncertainty.
