It has been, for markets to exist they must vibrate. I think of it as plucking a string on a guitar. The string is plucked giving energy to the price it vibrates until it stops. At this point its energy is gone, this usually happens at a fib. extension from the previous X point in a uptrend. .382 is the minimum retrace before the string is plucked again in harmonics.
