Primarily Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales provide England with their UK Empire illusion. They also provide a net revenue surplus to England.

Scotland has their own Parliament and PM, Northern Ireland is less independent but could vote in a referendum to become independent, join Ireland, or join the EU.

Wales would require permission of the UK Parliament to do the same, but if Scotland and Northern Ireland leave, the political pressure from Wales to leave will be unable for the London government to resist.

Even with special appeals from the Queen to remain part of the UK. Remember her castle is in Scotland and Prince Charles is the Prince of Wales. But this is sentimental rubbish. The Queen could just as easily buy a castle in Germany.
.

Some in England occasionally say England spends more on Scotland than they receive in taxes, but they dare not say this too loudly as their fantasy excludes the oil and gas royalties the London government receives on production in Scotland. It's going to be very costly for England when Scotland leaves.

Bottom-line, if these three parts of the UK left, not only is there no more UK, but the English government will be more economically hard up as they receive a net benefit from these rural areas rich with resources.

British citizens next face Boris Johnson's monstrous lie he had painted on his bullshit-bus that England can stop sending £350 million to the EU and spend this money on their National Health Service.

Just like the omission of oil and gas royalties from Scotland, the £350 million doesn't include the money England gets back from the EU. It's a good thing that Boris Johnson is now PM to take the heat for his lies. To make this true, Johnson will need to stop paying EU style farm subsidies to UK farmers, and eliminate all the other income and services in England this pays for.

To make this whopper of a lie true England will also have to terminate NHS Medicare benefits to English retirees who have moved to Europe - leaving them without care.

It's analogous to Senator Mitch McConnell's "Medicare for Nobody Plan" to pay for tax cuts.

The truth is going to tear England apart and destroy the Tory Party.
