All and all these numbers look pretty poor. They posted an operating loss in the fourth quarter (which Ed alluded to). The only reason that they had any net income for the quarter was because of financial engineering. Also I thought it said in the press release that they expected a loss in the first quarter. I certainly do not see anything positive about the report.

Ed, yes the credit saved them. I am on my way to work. But I am seriously thinking they are falling out of favor with cable companies. COMS(Com21) seems to be gaining speed,and many accounts. I am afraid that HLIT may not be able to compete effectively with the big companies. BAY,COMS,Toshiba are dominating the cable upgrade landscape.
