Why is the intern testifying in DALLAS? Is that where the trial is going to be held? Washington makes more sense, since the president's time is so valuable.

I don't think this will fizzle away. Too much evidence is in place, and they have tapes, my god!!! A little hard to SLIDE out of!!! I am expecting some distraction on a major scale, maybe a sudden attack on Iraq as Clinton seemed to be threatening in his PSB interview with Jim Lehrer tonight. My husband remarked after seeing all the television coverage, that he bet Clinton was sleeping on the couch tonight!! I said I bet he was sleeping in the dog house with Buddy!!!

Speaking of WAG THE DOG, didn't you think getting a puppy when the Paula Jones case was coming to trial, and also that picture on the beach with Hillary, which much of the press thinks Clinton himself staged, were minor variations on the same theme, in the sense of total distraction attempts?

I really liked the movie, particularly the performances by De Niro and Dustin Hoffman, and laughed a lot, but it is hard to make a GREAT movie with really only one joke. I thought it dragged a little in the middle. Still, I would agree that it be required in all civics classes, and I am hoping a lot of the citizenry will see it too, and approach the next 'war' with a little more cynicism. Maybe some people might even think about VOTING!!!! I am sure that the wars in Iraq and Grenada were very much on this theme, incidentally.
