If you followed CPQ at all (which it doesn't look like ) you would of noticed that CPQ had been under pressure as the rest of the sector rallied in the last few weeks. Yesterday the market finally broke it's down trend line and ran the shorts out of the market. If the market continues weak you should see CPQ drift back towards it's support around 30. Sorry no conspiracy here.

Simon;
The boys and girls at CNBC have got this "beats-the-estimate" game down to a science. IBM has been beating the estimate for well over 18 months now, and the stock has doubled. Only trouble is, revenues haven't budged, earnings are essentially flat, cash is down, debt is up, high margin revenues are declining, while low margin sales are rising, and shareholder equity is eroding fast.
Manias are marvellous
Best, Earlie
