David: Thanks for your Zachattack comments. I'm reading the Zakattack posts the same way as you're reading them. I'm feeling dicked (pun intended). Maybe it's enthusiasm, but it sure smacks of badly written PR Hype. (Forgive me if you're reading this post, Zackattack, if this is an unfounded characterization and concern on my part, but you're brand new to SI and the timing and words are.. well.. WHO ARE YOU?
I believe that this stock has some chance of survival. I believe that the stock is being shorted. I know it's been debentured almost to death. I believe they have market potential ("just 25%" as Zackattack suggested or quoted would be a miracle no matter HOW good the system.
All that said, the reality is that HVSF to date is a virtual no-show in medical journals and will remain so until they progress through the FDA maze. Phase II & III trials are a bitch to get through, and IF they survive the journey, HVSF is going to have to get somebody BIG to partner with them or buy them (probably the latter) if it's ever going to reach the market. They'll probably need the financial clout and FDA savvy of a large established player just to make it through the trials.
