To the "thread,"

With respect to this morning's weaker opening in TFS common, I note the following quotation:

"If it were not for the company of fools, a witty man would often be greatly at a loss." (Fran‡ois, Duc de La Rochefoucauld (1613-80), French writer, moralist)

It appears that the market is focusing on the expected seasonality of the business and what it assumes will be a "disappointing" first quarter number rather than TFS being so convinced that it will show substantial growth in late 1998 and all of 1999 (and several years thereafter!) that it budgeted $14 million in capital expenditures for the currrent year.

Mr. Market is again giving us a "gift," with TFS's growth accelerating and the shares still trading at a discount to the averages. Sometimes, the ignorance of investors boggles my mind.

Have a good day everyone.
