Someone told me that he thought that a Q-phone from QCOM would retail
for $700 CND if it were not subsidized by the service providers.
That may be a number based on the old manufacturing cost by QCOM
though.

Someone on the LU thread said the Chairman of LU appearred on CNBC.
He reports that he does anticipate a slow down of demand for
equipment by the RBOC's. He said the trend was towards buying
complete systems from a vendor and thought any slow down would
be for smaller companies that do not offer a wide range of products.
I will try to listen the conference call tonight or Friday.
LU call is 1-800-475-6701, #367679.
