I trade mainly by the slow/fast Stochastics graph. It is extremely reliable and accurate. When the slow stochastic line pokes above 80%, start selling, when it pokes below 50% start buying. I use this in concert with other indicators but this is the major one.

<<This and 100,000 Baht will buy you a cup of coffee>>

and someone else mentioned "they don't have a clue how to solve..."

This snippet from an Asia Business Summary seems to confirm that at least some of them "don't have a clue". Interesting the way this man thinks?!

Sydney, Jan. 21 /PRNewsire/ -- The following summary of business in Asia was prepared by Asia Pulse, the real-time, Asia-based wire with exclusive news, market intelligence and business opportunities:

MAHATHIR TELLS MALAYSIANS TO PREPARE FOR PRICE HIKES KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has indicated that the government will not rein in prices of essential goods after the double festival next week and told Malaysians to be prepared to face price rise. He said people had to accept reality and be prepared to face the possibility of a price hike for several essential goods after the Chinese New Year and Hari Raya festivals. "Goods which can be retained at their old price, we will maintain, but if it is not possible, we will study (allowing price increases) as nobody will like to subsidise for others," he told reporters after launching an Islamic institute here last night.

ML lowered its estimate for semiconductor equipment growth in 98' citing declines in spending by Korean, Taiwanese & Japanese chip companies.
Research Note: Industry would show zero-to-5% growth in 98'. down from an earlier projection of 5% to 10% growth.
However increased spending estimates for American chip companies to 15% to 20% from 10% to 15% based on recent projections by some semiconductor manufacturers. Also noted American chip companies could lower that rate because of lower revenue during the year.
Maintained its intermediate-term neutral rating on 16 chip-equipment companies but projected that earnings ests. would "have more to come down".

Looks like the 34. support level will be tested.
