both shall return this day by high-speed train from Shanghai

no need to chance it, waiting at airport and and and w/ typhoon in china and airport sit-in in HK

in the mean time the jack is not interested to venture to parts of HK to explore what is happening on the streets

am tele-sensing public sentiment shifting against the rioters in town even as the demonstrators at airport are demonstrating. the taxi drivers are no longer supportive of demonstrations pro / con officialdom.

I understand select demonstrating folks are getting octopus store-value cards (used for subway / bus transportation) as subsidy - should be easy enough to trace by linking cards to time of purchase to video records and and and

the trip to/fro airport by train costs ~US$ 25 round trip, not small change exactly once tally-in food and drink - iow, there is money backing demonstrators
