Yes, they would need shareholder approval to increase authorized shares.

Perhaps I didn't explain myself good enough....I received the 2/1 and 3/2 splits LAST YEAR....MRVC does not have enough authorized shares to split again....I was commenting about how the extra shares sold, warrants given out etc. have impacted the EPS growth....it has diluted it dramatically up to this point....from 18 to 27 or so......Growth rate slowed while # outstanding shares increased...NOT GOOD....

However, I believe that they got an excellent deal with this acquisition....
