Looks simple to resolve in Hong Kong. Lam tells Beijing to stick their rendition demand and resigns for having been pathetically toady to Beijing. Beijing refrains from murderous threats and punishes those who made the threats; "Watch out because we will kill you and it will be your fault that we kill you, just like Tienanmen". Hong Kong then holds a referendum for independence with 66% vote being good enough. Actually, make that 51%.
