Hong Kong thrived under British rule and learned about freedom. Now the new Chinese regime is rescinding their rights. It also illustrates why kopernutts and his minions are way off base. This is what the flag stands for and these Hong Kong protesters understand. The flag represents a shiny beacon of freedom and also those who fought and died to retain it. Sure there were injustices but the kneelers are protesting the essence of what "righted" those injustices.
