SirAlexx,

There may be a bit of wishful thinking in your analysis of ORBI's present Technical position. Second Opinion has ORBI as a Buy at the present time(based on Technicals):

suretrade.stkwtch.com

The market is in the process of discounting Orbcomm's future earnings based on their new ability to provide digital data to the entire globe 40% of the time(and almost in real time).

In addition,the market has to include the fact that this capability will be extended to 100% of the globe,100% of the time after a couple of more launches.I don't believe the market is going to sell that capability for 33 or 34 dollars per share-- the potential is simply too great to let it go that cheaply.

The possibility of a pullback is always present. The market will not allow much of a comfort zone for investors in any security--but,I believe ORBI is putting in place the assets it needs to be much more valuable in the near term.I am not going to attempt to time the market--I have yet to meet anyone who could do that consistently (with the possible exception of Angelo) < G >

As to the argument that ORBI has come too far too fast, consider that this capability to supply data only became a reality with the recent launch of eight new satellites. The risks and uncertainties surrounding the process make it impossible for the market to discount the event to any great extent until it is a reality;hence, the recent run-up.We should see further increases as the next launch approaches and becomes a reality.

Good Luck,

Mitch

On a technical basis only, the current configuration of ORBI's daily chart is quite tenous. The shrinking range and light volume are warning of an impending move in either direction;

I don't think there is any big mystery about ORBI's techical position.

The stock has had a very nice run on big volume. Now it is pulling back on light volume before it likely makes another run to new highs. A classic pattern. I suspect the pullback will be limited to 31 or so unless there is some bad news in which case upper 20s is realistic.
