thread, you can figure out cpq's channel inventory by what is said. they had 10 weeks the end of last yr. that mean they have what I've said all along...they have 5 weeks now. which is 50% lower than 12-31-96. I have maybe 20 posts saying inventory will be 4.5 weks or 4-5 weeks. this is waht anyone counld pick out of eaven the HQ reports which don't know didley and dg'ed cpq even before the analyt conf. call. also, the lower revenue but higher profit is the currency excahnges the reveune back to dollars at lower number, but, the currency hedging means they don't lose the profit. and profit was the same or higher. also, I can find no release FROM CPQ THAT SAYS GOAL WAS 2-3 WEEKS. NONE.THIS WAS A 3Q98 GOAL.
