Nope. He's no moron. If he was, then he wouldn't have clawed his way into the Presidency and managed to stay there despite all that the Bush, the Clintons, the entire establishment, and the Democratic Party threw at him. I'd say he's a very intelligent, successful, and scrappy survivor. You just don't like his politics and so that blinds you to everything else. His polls are falling in direct correlation to the stock market and the economy. His re-election depends on both, because he tied himself to them, which has put himself at the mercy of the Fed.
