August 95, 24 years ago I went to HK. I thought my last chance (I was working in Indonesia then) to see the place plus Macau.

and so I did.

I knew that whatever would be written in piece of paper would not be valid. The Chinese would trample on it.

As the years passed I was surprised. It was working. Then HK shelf's date expired. Having outlived its usefulness. The Chinese came to grab it.

The Chinese are a destabilizing force in the world. A predator that preys on the weak.

Being it Africans. Italians and Danish

Why Trump mention buying that ice block?

Yes the Chinese want to sneak into Greenland

Re <<fear and identity>>

A/k/a the other side of transfusion / rejuvenation, same as irrelevancy / displacement

The reason might be that there is no such thing as birthright in Hong Kong, for Hong Kong started as a rock, and is built up by many.

Darwinian protocol, survival of the fittest, freedom rock.

Essentially a variation on trade-able resident rights.

TJ has got away with this discourse for 22 years, the time I have been a member of SI.
