Here's a link to the entire Newsweek piece:

The whole thing is bizarre. Seems Lewinsky, transferred from the White House to the Pentagon because her WH boss thought she had a crush on Clinton and wasted too much time trying to hang around him, also claimed to have had an affair with a ranking Pentagon official. He has declined comment.

I'd observe as well that Linda Tripp seems to have some kind of axe to grind, and to be more than a little strange. I can think of nothing at all that would suggest to me that taping my friends' confidences would be anything but slimy. Tripp may, by the way, have some problems with illegal wire-tapping charges.

And then there's Clinton himself. If he had an affair with Lewinsky, why deny it under oath? This really is a no-no, and scarcely worth the risk. Everyone knows he's not a faithful husband, so what's one more bimbo? Sure, he may have asked her not to tell anyone (advice she evidently ignored), but when you're having a supposedly clandestine affair that's normal. They'll never get him for suborning perjury, because Vernon Jordan will never admit he took any direction from Clinton at all.

There's also Ken Starr. Unable to make any Whitewater allegations stick firmly, he seems obsessed by the idea of getting the Prez one way or another. Who the guy sleeps with should not be a matter of concern or interest to the Special Counsel, and that's what all this is really about. Certainly no one has raised allegations of sexual harrassment: Lewinsky may think Clinton's a "creep" now, but she seems to have been smitten enough earlier on.

Who knows where the "truth" lies? One thing is abundantly clear, though: we are dealing with a bunch of idiots (Clinton included) who are, one way or another, fixated on sex and on the exposure of sexual peccadillos. And the rest of the world will, as usual, laugh itself silly.
