Hi Vanni,

I've been lurking on this thread for about one year and find it very comical the way some people react to information. If you haven't learned by now, many on this thread are reluctant to accept ANYONE who doesn't play by their rules, or provide information that isn't "Good News".

If I were you I wouldn't waste your time debating with some of the people who post on this thread. More often than not, they are looking at Creaf through rose colored glasses and can't accept the fact that everything isn't always good news or that they didn't already know about the news.

Good luck in your ongoing debate.....John

[OT] I am my OWN analyst in creaf.. always have been. if you followed the thread.. when volume was 100k a day.. i was here {8 5/8} and explaing how a turnaround would happen.. there was nobody here..
except a guy called wannabee fool, power ranger and an assortment of nice and informed people.
Jon Tara brought in a lot of technical product knowledge and a strong contrarian argument..Jon Tara knows his sh!t when it comes to what's inside these boxes are mouses are plugged in..
Power ranger does his homework, wannabee fool has a closer inside track to the doings of ML and that side of creaf..
but hey you knew this..
The collective homework of these people was important.. at least to me because i owned the stock for two years..
i don't need to know what some singapore broker says.. i need to know that they aren't getting hurt on the side by the asian flu..
i need to know if now is the time to buy more or sell..
YOu seem to serve no purpose other than yipping and yapping like a small dog that has to relieve himself.. i have never come a cross a "time waster" {in WWW terms} like you in my time here on SI..
You seem to have nothing to stand for, and worst of all nothing to do.You have a right to an opinion and a right to post..
What you don't have a right to is MY TIME, but somehow you get again.. bravo for wasting 5 minutes of my time..
i guess i can spare 5 minutes every two weeks for you..
seek help...
why don't you go to the "rock" thread and get the attention you so desire..
taxi

Vanni, we have a number of posters here from Singapore whom I'm sure will check out your claims. I sure that, collectively, they can also comment on the strengths and weaknesses of each broker. Can you?

But you've still not provided much information. Even if these brokers did revise their earnings estimates, that doesn't do us much good without knowing the magnitude or direction of those changes.

But if you'd told us even the names of the brokers at the time, we could have checked them out.

I note that all of these brokers are Asian. This is certainly important information. I cerntainly would not say that any 20 (or whatever) Asian brokers are going to come up with the same numbers as some selection of U.S. brokers. This may provide a more or less accurate picture than U.S. analysts, but it certainly provides a *different* picture.

I don't see your purpose in not posting details. If you'd posted the details, they would have been verified positively or negatively, and you'd either be proven a liar, or the issue of credibility would never have come up. IF you are telling the truth, posting details only helps your credibility. Posting vague comments serves only to make it impossible to verify your statements.

And I do recommend verification of *anything* written here by anybody. That doesn't mean that everybody has to verify everything. If everyone verifies just one fact each, we have a very powerful tool here.

BTW, Yappy, our purpose here is not to show our knowledge of the brokerage community. It's to share information about investing and trading. You're not here to do that, but to heckle and tease with partial or incorrect information.

Now, explain to us the strengths and weaknesses of these brokerages, and their relative merits

CREAF trades in Germany also.. Couldn't you make up a list of all the brokerage houses in Germany and then ask us to explain the strengths and weakness of these brokerages? What kind of moron are you? When you buy and sell CREAF you do research on that stock NOT on the brokerage houses that cover them. What kind of problem does one solve if he do research on the brokerage house and not on the analysis of the stock issued by the analyst at the brokerage house?

Let me repeat my point here again. When CREAF releases earnings tommorrow, the stock's price movement is determined based on two things 1) how it compares with the First Call estimates 2) what the company has to say about moving forward.

If you are long term investor, you try to understand what the company makes, what's the demand for their products, what their profit margins are, who are their competitors etc. I have never seen you discuss any of these in your zillion postings on this thread. You solve nothing by talking about the brokerage houses that covers a stock.

After all these postings back and forth, trust me, you helped nobody, your contributions are worth "0".
