Jack, Obviously, the quote's from Sam, not me. My point was AOL's basic configuration--dialup content provider--is old-fashioned and limited in its ability to respond to the future cyberworld, a subject we've beat to death on this thread. It doesn't matter whether AOL's hardware is shiny or rusty. It's what they do with it. AOL is running a 1980's style service as we approach the 21st Century, kind of like running a Model T on Premium unleaded. The Model T runs but not any better than it did in the 1920s.
