Recessions are the painful and necessary corrections for the malinvestments made during prior excess credit expansions. The one going on when Obama came in was a doozy, partially thanks to GWB's war and buying in to the predominantly Democratic idea that government could offer positive improvements to the general well being. So far all of those contractions led to expansions. Urkel's ignorance, or malice, impeded that expansion. Don't try to sell your childish crap to people with some informed understanding of history.
